Responsibilities:
. Application programming (mainly backend database programming
and system integration).
. Ensure high quality development work via standards, guidelines,
compliance, and testing.
Requirements:
. At least 10 years in the information technology industry.
. At least 7 years in SQL development.
. Strong database technology in SQL programming.
. Experience in large volume data processing especially data
analysis, integration, interfaces, migrations, ETL
design/implementation, and data warehousing.
. Experience in all aspects of software development life cycle.
. Experience in multi-tier application and different system
platforms.
. Experience with Microsoft development tools: SQL Server
Management Studio, Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server.
. Experience with various RDBMS, ex. SQL Server and DB2.
Relevant experience in one or more of the following desired:
Reinsurance or commercial insurance business knowledge will be a huge
plus.
Exposure to CAT Modeling tools like CATRADER or RMS will be a key
differentiator.
QlikView (or other business intelligence/analytics products)
experience would be a huge plus.
Data warehouse applications experience.
Business Objects/Crystal Reports (or other report writing tools).
