*Location:*Bloomington, IL, US

Client: State Farm (SF)

Duration:6 months







*Qualifications:*



The preferred candidate must have a solid work history within the IT
industry in a role directly involved in the development, implementation or
operations support of IT solutions. Practical experience working as a
programmer/analyst, project manager or coordinator, functional tester or
business analyst is preferred and all candidates must have previous
experience working within a large enterprise environment and can
demonstrate excellent teamwork and communications skills. Candidates with
previous IT Consulting experience are highly desired for this position.


Strategic:
The Implementation Coordinator(IC) is responsible for the deployment of
custom software into the production environment.  To support that
goal, Implementation Coordinators develop Implementation Plans and oversee
the executable actions to promote the software to the production
environment.

Implementation Plan:
This plan addresses different aspects of a software or hardware deployment.
Such as security, the technical aspects of a roll-out, communication,
installation / checkout / back-out plans etc. The objective of this
deliverable is to develop a road map that reconciles the requirements of
the business partner(s) and the constraints the project is facing from
either a technical or resource perspective.  Acquiring information to write
the plan typically involves meeting with the project discipline leads such
as security, business analysts, communication analysts, installation
specialists etc, and holding meetings to resolve competing priorities. As
projects continue through the Software Development Life-cycle they
typically encounter new issues, risks and dependencies. The Implementation
Coordinator is responsible for understanding the implications and making
corresponding changes to the Implementation Plan. The end result is a
deliverable that tells a coherent story of how the solution will be
introduced into production and the corresponding support activities that
ensue. The deliverable is reviewed with all stakeholders to ensure that
there is consensus, only then is it authorized.

- Being able to ask probing questions
- Proactive
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Implementations occur over the weekend so weekend work is required
- Prior experience at client is a plus
- ITIL experience
- Leadership skills
- Strong technical background in Host, JAVA and Windows
- Ability to multi-task for different implementations
- Ability to take ownership and provide coordination for tasks related to
implementation to test and production
- Good communication skills
- Self-motivated
- Good attention to details
- Broad technical knowledge is preferred (Java, Client Server and Mainframe
- Knowledge of mainframe technologies and tools (DB2) is preferred
- Working knowledge of project methodologies (i.e. waterfall, scrum,
agile), leadership skills, familiarity with Systems Technical
Architectures,experience and familiarity with implementation processes and
procedures on various platforms, knowledge and experience with service
management and ITIL processes.
