JAVA DEVELOPER / LEAD JAVA DEVELOPER Location: Redmond, WA Duration: 12 Months Do you want to play a pivotal role in designing and developing ecommerce platform software that drives core RealNetworks products? We’re seeking a hands-on Lead SDE/Manager (DOE) who will oversee the software design and development cycle for the ecommerce platform system as well as driving key enhancements with our existing software. We need a true subject matter expert in eComm platform systems specifically our web services platforms. You will lead a small team of talented software professionals as well as interface regularly with QA and Program Management in an Agile environment. What you will build, own, and be accountable for: • TTranslates technical concepts into alternate design paths, oversees the development of identified paths, and implements them • Makes decisions regarding time/cost/quality tradeoffs in the software development life cycle • Interact with peers and management regarding overall product design • Establishes new techniques for the modification and design of products and software development processes and procedures for development team • Makes decisions regarding technical architecture and product design. Identifies opportunities to increase productivity and quality for development team • Consults with implementation teams to ensure the integrity of effort to execute on architectural vision • Mentors and supervises the work of software development engineers.
