Job : Application Support Engineer
Location : Dallas, Texas
Duration : 9+ Months
Job Description:
This is a very technical applications engineering role supporting clients who
have the OMAP / ARM with either Android or Ubuntu OS and in some cases Linux
kernel de-bug will be needed.
You will be supporting drivers most of the time and some software applications.
Thus, code de-bug, some development and working with customers in critical.
Qualifications:
a.. Applications: Android and Linux, embedded on OMAP platforms, for a
variety of consumer and industrial end equipments
b.. Experience and proficiency in embedded Android/Linux BSP
c.. Experience and proficiency with OMAP platforms
a.. Write drivers and applications
b.. Write demo code to demonstrate OMAP platform features
c.. Troubleshoot and solve customer-specific issues
d.. A "customer-facing" degree of English fluency - written and
conversational - required of the TL and at least half the other contributors
e.. Routine interaction with the team in Dallas
f.. Occasional interaction with customers, mostly in North America, a few
in Europe
d.. Available to travel to customer sites from time to time as needed during
the course of the services
e.. Hardware and Software experience
a.. "Blaze" OMAP 4 development platforms - Blaze platforms will be provided
to you by us
b.. Software tool chain
c.. Emulators
d.. Other HW/SW as needed to provision the services
