· Builds/Release engineer to build java applications.

· 2-3yrs Experience with SCM tools.

· Proven experience with ANT or Maven.

· Ability to merge Java code.

· Knowledge of Java is a plus.

· Experience with scripting like Perl, unix shell.

Let me know if you have any consultants with the following skills

Title:  Build/Release Engineer

Location:  Dallas, TX

Length:  12 Months

Rate:  $45/hr C2C

 

Necessary Skills

  a.. B.S. in Computer Science or related area of study and be eligible to work 
in the United States 
  b.. Experience writing code in Java and/or C/C++. Good understanding of 
Object oriented analysis is needed to support the build architecture. 
  c.. Should be very familiar with Windows and MAC development environments and 
have ability to work independently 
  d.. Very good experience with make/nmake, ANT, Perl, Ruby, and Python 
scripting. 
  e.. Familiarity with compilers, linkers, on multiple platforms (Windows, 
Macintosh and Linux) 
  f.. Cruise Control maintenance (or any other Java based continuous build 
integration tools ) 
  g.. Knowledge to set up servers and maintain them (Windows, Macintosh and 
Linux) 
  h.. Ability to innovate and use scripting or batch files to work around 
issues
