GENERAL SUMMARY

A skilled resource needed to develop and support technologies for the
Oracle R12 OBIEE implementation.
The role requires a strong understanding of the Oracle Reporting Solution
OBIEE+,  and knowledge of developing reports using Answers, pre-packaged
Oracle BI Apps ( such as Supply Chain Analytics, Order Management

Analytics, Financial Analytics, Procurement and Spent Analytics),  Reports
and Dash Boards, BI publisher Reports.
Good understanding of Oracle ERP modules such as Financials, WMS, ASCP,
Demantra, Order Management, etc. is definitely a plus.

Target Competencies

5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Transactional
applications, Design and Implementation of Data Warehouse, System Analysis,
Design, Development and Data Modeling.
Strong in developing Informatica Mappings / Mapplets using various
Transformations for Extraction, Transformation and Loading of data from
Multiple Sources to Data Warehouse and creating Workflows with Worklets &
Tasks

and scheduling using both Workflow Manager and DAC.
Worked in OWB and creation of new mappings and process flows.
BI and Data warehousing experience (I.e. Siebel Analytics 7.x/OBIEE ,d
Informatica 8.1/7.x/6.x)
Very strong experience in developing OBIEE Repository (.rpd) at three
layers (Physical Layer, Business Model & Presentation Layer), Interactive
Dashboards with drill-down capabilities using global & local Filters,
Security Setup

(groups, access / query/report privileges), Analytics Metadata objects
configuration experience (Subject Area, Table, Column), Web Catalog Objects
(Dashboard, Pages, Folders, Reports).
Experience in creating Metadata Objects and Web Catalog Objects
(Dashboards, Pages, and Reports) using OBIEE Admin Tool.
Experience of requirement gathering and client meetings.
Developed organizational and communication skills, with strength in
inter-personal relationships.

Education and Relevant Experience (Describe the base level of education and
work experience required or preferred)

·          Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Systems
Analysis, or related field. or equivalent work experience is required
·          5+ years of direct work experience or 3+ years of direct work
experience with Masters in information technology
·          3+ years with Business Intelligence applications such as Oracle
OBIEE+, Hyperion Essbase Analytics on Oracle EPM suite.
·          3+  years of hands-on report and dash board development
experience with Oracle OBIEE+
·          3+ years experience in Oracle OBIEE+, Application Object Library
, PL/SQL, stored procedures, TOAD (or similar tools used for database
related development
·          Experience in Cognos,  a plus, but not required

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

·          Good understanding of Linux operating systems.
·          Demonstrated experience designing, developing, implementing, and
managing Business Intelligence reporting and related data warehouse
solutions
·          Must be able to communicate effectively to team members, peers,
and management to ensure successful project and support results
·          Demonstrated experience using structured SDLC methodologies
