[MCN-L] Instagram Instructions for In-gallery installation
Hi all, We are doing an in-gallery Instagram participatory experience in an upcoming exhibition. We are drafting wall text/instructions to introduce the project. Does anyone have any experience or examples describing how to take a picture on Instagram? Any advice or examples would be helpful! [MCN-L] Kiosk Pro Plus
Hi Heather, We had a similar charging issue with an ipad stand, apple issued charger and an aftermarket extension cable. We determined that it was in fact, the length of the cable that was the issue. When the station was in constant use, if the iPad was not fully charged to begin with, the apple chord + extension cable was not able to recharge the battery at the same rate that it was being used. We solved the problem by putting the kiosk to "sleep" at night to give the kiosk time to recharge fully. [MCN-L] Media Player/App for iPad for in-gallery installation
Hi All, We are looking to have a listening station in a gallery for an upcoming special exhibition. The goal is to load a selection of music for visitors to listen to via headphones. I'm struggling with determining a method to load the music on the an iPad to give visitors a choice in selecting something to listen to while also limiting what they can access. iTunes doesn't seem to be a good match as it has too many options/features. Does anyone have any apps or media players they have used in the past for a similar project? Thanks! [MCN-L] iPad Pedestal Kiosk
We are in the market for some iPad kiosk pedestals. Has anyone purchased or use done recently they have especially liked (or disliked)? Our criteria: - Floor based - Adjustable height - Locking/Anti-theft ability - Access to front facing camera - Controlled access to home button - Chord storage - Stable base that won't move easily and/or ability to secure to ground Many thanks!
