Re: [MCN-L] Controlled vocabulary for view description

2016-03-01 Thread Boyce Tankersley
We have a vocabulary focused on views of plants (flowers, fruits, habit, etc.)
if that would be of interest. It was created as part of a collaboration among
herbaria and botanic gardens.

Many thanks,

Hello,
Does anyone have a controlled vocabulary for a view description field? Or can
anyone point me to a resource for such a vocabulary/taxonomy? We want to clean
up our data and make it more consistent across the board. We currently have a
short list (recto, verso, full view, detail), and then photographers can
manually enter others that are more specific (full view front, full view side
proper left, etc.) and have ended up with a hodgepodge of values.

Many thanks,
Kate Mayo
