Very, very nice admin features, API, and good functionality. Doesn't integrate with our POS system but it's light years better than the old system that did, so it's worth the extra admin overhead of syncing stock. Nate As a side note: If you want e-commerce, accounting and POS to work together with minimal effort check out VendHQ.com for SaaS POS and Xero.com for accounting. Both are kiwi based companies making waves internationally. Vend and Shopify work well together and so do Vend and Xero and Xero and Shopify: - http://www.vendhq.com/partners - http://www.xero.com/accounting-software/add-ons/

Dear Matt, It might help to know that companies offering print on demand will often use a separate basket because the checkout process for POD is complicated and is differently structured to the standard web merchandising site. At Bridgeman Art Library we offer an entirely separate print on demand site that also offers cards and mugs and we are adding other products for our museum partners who want to participate in the offer. Our reserach has shown that B2C is a very different animal and the offer has to be tailored specifically for maximising sales. For example, we have tested very small tweaks to the checkout area which has made a significant difference in completed sales. You may want to look at www.bridgemanartondemand.com. Very happy to answer any further questions and good luck! I wonder if there are reputable companies out there providing a flexible shopping cart feature bundled with secure online payment transaction, or if the two solutions tend to be separate and have to be interfaced? What are people using? Suggestions? We are switching to Shopify too. We'll integrate with our POS system within a month or two. -nik Nate Solas nate.solas at walkerart.org 1/27/2012 12:32 PM We switched to shopify.com last year and I'm pretty happy with it.
