MD: Sharp mt15 record jack fuzzy
Hi, This is my first post to the list. I'm interviewing people for a research project with my sharp mt15 (purchased at deep discount from some internet company that is now out of business) and I noticed that when I turn the plug in the jack slightly, it creates slight amounts of static and popping. Is this normal? Should I clean the input jack or get it replaced? I experimented with two different mics, same thing happened. Thanks for input or suggestions, MC [EMAIL PROTECTED] 10/18/01 06:21PM Pressit make label software and labels for MD. I got mine from discount discs (www.discountdiscs.co.uk), or try www.pressit.com They seem to work well enough with my Epson inkjet printer. Re: MD: MZ-R90 not writing TOC
Jim asked, | Will the 940 deck do toc cloning? Maybe you can save the recording. Yes, it can; perhaps that's why Steve didn't express any concern about losing the recording. - To stop getting this list send a message containing just the word unsubscribe to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

=== = NB: Over 50% of this message is QUOTED, please = = be more selective when quoting text = === Technically speaking if they removed easily they'd be horrible labels. Imagine one falling off in your player. Myself, I write on my labels with pencil, although that doesn't help people looking to use printed labels. I'm sure someone out there has a good technique for removing labels, but I doubt it'd be healthy for your minidisc in the process. :) :ml --- Mike Lastucka, B. Thanks for input or suggestions, MC clean the input jack with propylic alcool and do the same with male part of the mt15. if it's not going better, go to your local sharp dealer to replace the female jack on your mt15 - To stop getting this list send a message containing just the word unsubscribe to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re: MD: MD Label blank
I recall 3m made removable floppy labels at one point, using post-it glue. That might work. I don't think removing a detached label in a portable would be too brutal, but I worry about residue scraping off onto something sensitive. Here is one place selling avery removables that may work. I haven't tested them. They are listed as removable and repositionable. http://www.compuforms.com/remove.htm - To stop getting this list send a message containing just the word unsubscribe to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

MD: Digital Sound Preset on MZ-R900
This is the point: I set the treble and bass settings of the Digital Sound Presets "Sound1" and "Sound2" on their zero levels (Bass +-0, Treble +-0). Then I switched between no sound settings (nothing appears on display) and "Sound1/2" (sound1/2 appears on display :). Even the levels were zero (and I suppose with no sound preset selected levels are zero too), I heard the difference - with sound1/2 the sound was little 'cleaner'. I don't have proper software to measure the difference, to express the difference in numbers, but I think that no sound preset and sound1/2 with zero levels of basses and trebles differ. Don't you know, how is this possible? Thx in advance. Have A Nice Day! Martin Roubicek =) - To stop getting this list send a message containing just the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Mark E. Crane wrote: Thanks, this worked. I put a little 91% isopropyl on the plug, then popped it in and out of the jack about 10 times and now it sounds great. Woo hoo! Of course I'll probably sell it to upgrade to something with mdlp, but for now it's awesome. Thanks!!! === = NB: Over 50% of this message is QUOTED, please = = be more selective when quoting text = === That's because in the manual, no sound preset actually isn't 0 level for treble, 0 level for bass. Bass is like +2 and I THINK trebel is 0. Read the manual, it's in there somewheres. :ml --- Mike Lastucka, B. MD: Perfect Case
So, the volume controls on my MS-722 are acting flakey. Which means that until I get it fixed (assuming I can and do), I've fallen back to my old MZ-R30. But I couldn't find the old CaseLogic case I kept it in. Hrm. So I check out the local Best Buy because that is where I got it. No luck. But, on impulse, I took a look in the camera section. Lo and behold, the perfect case. It is the Targus mini digital camera case. One padded compartment made of synthetic leather lined with nylon with padded nylon flip cover. Removable, overly padded shoulder strap. Belt loop with snap and some Velcro for added strength. The MZ-R30 and AirHead amp fit absolutely perfectly. And it cost all of $12.50 including tax. -- Rat [EMAIL PROTECTED]\ Happy Fun Ball may stick to certain types Minion of Nathan - Nathan says Hi! \ of skin.
