I don't have an expensive car but it has been cared for. I don't to see it

Does it require modification of the dashboard ?
The mounting plate which has a sticker is screwed to the steering column
or wherever you'd like to, and the joystick is then snapped on to the
mounting plate. Very easy to install. Then just route the wire to the head
unit.
