FrEnCh RuLeZ !

;-)

Seriously, can anyone be interested in finding a place in Paris where one can find
80min MDs apart for Frenchies who live in
Paris ?
I don't think so, and don't worry... we ARE sorry for writing in french, but as it was
quite useless information for
99,99% of ya, we did not really care.

Ok, now pls drop this heavy thing you were about to throw at my head and smile :-) see
?

I wish all of ya have a nice day.

Plus the Wav recording must be in 16bit / 44kHz stereo.
(or at least converted to that if the original is not).

Wrong !
Yesterday, I recorded a speech on my MD then recorded as a 22Khz 16bits
mono wav file and burnt it to an audio CD using Easy CD Creator.
I didn't do any conversion to the file.

I didn't get any warning nor error, and the CD plays perfectly.

My $0.02

yup ! so the file does NOT need to be converted before burning.
The conversion is implicit.

You may not have done, but your writing software did...

Hi,

As far as I know, it works only for some sony decks, not for portable MD
recorders

 Hi there,
I have a Sony MZ-R55. I'd like to connect it to my PC to record CDs onto
minidisc, download MP3s, and edit my tracklist.

I know Sony sell a cable which apparently comes with software.

Does anybody know where I can find into on doing this? Obviously I'm
 after a digital connection.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

 Regds,
 Max.

Re: MD: MD --- Cassette

1999-09-28 Thread Yann LEZY

Well, this sounds like a blasphem to me !

Lol anyway, as standard cassettes (not DCC) are analogic media, there
WILL be a digital/analog conversion somewhere on the signal's way...
The signal will be in stereo, don't worry ! Analog handles stereo
aswell.. not only digital does it ;-)

If you are using a deck, then connect the MD's digital output to the
digital input of the amplifier and then its analogic output to the input
of the cassette deck (cassette decks always have one input and one
output). Use the amplifier switch to route the signal to the cassette
deck ("rec target" or something like that).

If you are using a portable, the output is always analogic (never seen
any digital one yet... anyone has ?).
Use this output to connect the cassette recorder using a RCA / mini jack
wire (in most cases).

Enjoy ;-

 Good morning all...

I'm wondering what the best way to get a recorded minidisc transferred to a
regular old cassette would be. I can't seem to locate anything that would
let me do this digitally (I'm SURE I'm wrong about that). Will I be stuck
 with a mono recording??
