Re: MD: CD-R problem...
Please do not bring race, sexual orientation, political persausion, gender, etc. into any discussions. We had two notable ones: one involving pink MiniDiscs and another involving a Jewish guy who felt the need to bring his feelings on Jewish people being persecuted as a race into every post he made who was kicked off the list, I think, in 48 hours or less. No one here cares about anything other than the topic at hand in regards to this list. - To stop getting this list send a message containing just the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re: MD: CD-R problem...
Reading this one made me think of something that I often do in meetings. Since i own a small contracting firm i often record the meetings that I go to and make it common notice so that nobody can say you didn't warn me. Anyway that's not the point, I only use the "Hello Kitty" MD's for doing this, not because they are good MD's, but i'd say about 95% of the time it really pisses someone off in the room big time that I am using something that is considered cute and a novelty in a serious situtation. I find this a good way to tell who's really uptight in meetings and who can take a joke. I wonder if I can get some of those Hello Kitty disks locally? Matt Wall wrote: Reading this one made me think of something that I often do in meetings. MD: CD-R problem...
hey.. I know i really shouldn't write about those evil CD-Rs on an MD list, but this is the only place i know that's techy enough to help... I just got a new computer (Compaq Presario 7940)with a built in CD-RW...I decided to make some CD-Rs for my friend (doesn't use MD...), but on the first track, after four seconds, stopped playing and tried reading the disc's TOC a few times before giving up. I thought this was an isolated incident due to my father's wonderful jumping up and down in front of the machine, but later, as i was burning another CD, it happened again...and again...and again Does anyone know how to fix this? On MD related neews, MiniDisc is catching on with people in my High School! Yes, America is finally learning! God, why aren't we as smart and Audiophilic as you people in the UK and Japan??? america sucks... I've already converted 2 Rio users to minidisc, and several other people (9, to be exact) are saving up money from their after-school jobs for a sony (i told them, get something with Sharp ATRAC, you're gonna be sorry [techno is popular at my school...]) REPLY, AND DO IT PRIVATELY, DAMMIT :) Jeffrey Lan [EMAIL PROTECTED] __ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com - To stop getting this list send a message containing just the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
