MD: Sharp mt15 record jack fuzzy
Hi, This is my first post to the list. I'm interviewing people for a research project with my sharp mt15 (purchased at deep discount from some internet company that is now out of business) and I noticed that when I turn the plug in the jack slightly, it creates slight amounts of static and popping. Is this normal? Should I clean the input jack or get it replaced? I experimented with two different mics, same thing happened. Thanks for input or suggestions, MC [EMAIL PROTECTED] 10/18/01 06:21PM Pressit make label software and labels for MD. I got mine from discount discs (www.discountdiscs.co.uk), or try www.pressit.com They seem to work well enough with my Epson inkjet printer. Thanks for input or suggestions, MC clean the input jack with propylic alcool and do the same with male part of the mt15. if it's not going better, go to your local sharp dealer to replace the female jack on your mt15 - To stop getting this list send a message containing just the word unsubscribe to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Mark E. Crane wrote: Thanks, this worked. I put a little 91% isopropyl on the plug, then popped it in and out of the jack about 10 times and now it sounds great. Woo hoo! Of course I'll probably sell it to upgrade to something with mdlp, but for now it's awesome. Thanks!!! Yes but now everything will sound like it is drunk! - To stop getting this list send a message containing just the word unsubscribe to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
