[MDaemon-L] Backup public IP

Dear Pak Syahril,

Saat ini server mdaemon saya menggunakan 1 public IP dan saya berencana menyewa 
1 provider internet lagi untuk digunakan sebagai backup IP Public mdaemon 
sehingga nantinya mdaemon mempunyai 2 Public IP yg redundant.
Apakah memungkinkan jika diterapkan hal tsb pada server mdaemon? Jika 
memungkinkan, Bagaimanakah cara settingnya di Mdaemon?

Setting itu untuk kirim/terima mail ke/dari internet saja.

Untuk intra domain (kalau hosting lebih dari 1 domain) maka smtp size
limitnya mengacu ke setting

Ini saya kasih ilustrasi, misalkan settingnya sbb:

 ...always refuses messages larger than 30720 KB
[ ] ...but not if the SMTP session is authenticated

Domain Options:
Refuse messages larger than 40960 KB
[x] ...but not if the SMTP session is authenticated

maka jika sender kirim mail antar sesama domain maka tidak ada batasnya
(no limit), tetapi kalau mail ke internet batasnya adalah 30 MB dan
kalau kirim ke intradomain (domain lain yang berada dalam satu host)
maka limitnya 40 MB.

Mail direject karena public IP yang digunakan MDaemon Anda tidak punya
valid PTR record.

Minta ke ISP Anda untuk membuatkan PTR record di reverse DNS zone mereka.

MD 9.5 hanya support BIS konvensional.
MD BIS baru didukung di MD 10.0.5 dan optimize di MD 12.0 keatas.

Dear Pak Syafril,

Server Mdaemon 9.6 sudah terupgrade ke ver 13.5 tetapi sekarang user yg memakai 
blackbery/android tidak bisa send/receive email.
Bagaimana cara setting BIS nya? Karena saat ini setiap saya mau setting email 
user di BB selalu keluar pesan "unable to connect to email server to verify 
your account information. no response from server"

Mail yang dikirim terlalu besar (49 MB) melebihi limit yang diterapkan
oleh server penerima (20 MB).

BTW. Kenapa tidak diterapkan smtp size limit untuk outbound mail?
Semua internet mail server menerapkan smtp size limit agar servernya
tidak di bom oleh orang iseng/jail dan tidak buang-2x resources kalau
kirim mail ke server tujuan yang tidak menerapkan ESMTP (mis. yahoo.com).

Semua MX penerima errornya sama, yang artinya server itu kehabisan disk
space.
Tidak ada yang bisa dilakukan di sisi Anda, hanya pengelola server
ui.ac.id yang bisa ambil tindakan perbaikan.
