Ya, itu wajar kalau pakai SSL Self Sign Certificate.

[16884] MDaemon's SMTP and POP clients now validate SSL certificates
presented to them by remote hosts. However, no action other than a line
added to the log is taken at this time pending further work in the IETF
regarding the various competing STS-like proposals. So for now you will
only see a line in the log indicating whether the remote host's name is
a match for the certificate it presents (or not) and whether that
certificate chains to a valid certificate authority recognized by
Windows (or not). Don't panic if you see a lot of "invalid" SSL
certificates presented. Such certificates are perfectly fine for
encrypting data transmission. They are "invalid" because they are either
self-signed or do not match the host name expected (or both). In such
cases you can be sure encryption is happening. Various weaknesses in TLS
(of which its opportunistic nature and acceptance of nearly all
certificates are major examples) are being worked on by industry experts
and will make their way into products and services once that work has
completed.

Tidak cukup bandwidthnya untuk dipakai sebagai mail server dengan direct
incoming to smtp/mdaemon.
Yang cocok pakai koneksi ODMR (preferred) atau domainpop.
Multipop masih bisa dipakai kalau jumlah user  5 - 25, diatas itu tidak
direkomendasi.

Speedy itu koneksinya Asynchronous (ADSL, Asymmetric digital subscriber
line), kecepatan download dan upload berbeda.
Downloadnya 2 Mbps tetapi upload speednya berkisar 0.2 Mbps (max).
Itu sebabnya koneksi ADSL lebih murah dibanding Lease Line.
Bisa diperiksa silang ke penyedia jasa koneksi speedy.

Kecepatan 2 Mbps hanya bisa didapat kalau LAN user akses ke internet
untuk browsing atau download, sementara kalau upload file/data ke
internet speednya maksimum 0.2 Mbps (+/- 10 % dari download speed).
Jika dipakai untuk koneksi Internet mail server seperti MDaemon maka
saat user diluar kantor akses ke webmail atau kirim mail relay melalui
MDaemon kecepatannya maksimum 0.2 Mbps juga.
Hal yang sama jika ada sender internet kirim mail ke MDaemon,
kecepatannya maksimum 0.2 Mbps.

Asymmetric connection diatas berlaku kalau yang menginisiasi koneksi
awal adalah LAN user (ada user yang aktif koneksi ke internet), akan
tetapi jika yang menginisiasi adalah internet user/host (baru menyusul
ada aktifitas internet dari LAN user) maka yang berlaku kecepatan
download = kecepatan upload (+/- 0.2 Mbps).

Kalau IMAP clientnya mendukung XLIST command akan begitu, misalkan
Thunderbird, AppleMail, Firebird dll.
Tetapi jika IMAP client tidak mendukung XLIST maka nama "sent folder"
bisa berbeda-beda, ada yang pakai "Sent Item", "Sent", "Send Folder" dls.

Umumnya IMAP client punya fasilitas untuk define nama core folder,
bahkan disimpan di core folder akun IMAP lain (jika di satu email client
punya banyak identity atau multi account)

Kami menggunakan speedy dengan kecepatan 2Mb (khusus untuk email aja),
hardware : core i3 dengan memori 16Gb OS win 7 32bit
Apakah itu sudah mencukupi?
