Itu karena user pakai POP3 dan akunnya diakses dari lebih 1 device.
POP3 memang standardnya hanya membolehkan 1 session connection saja, artinya
pada saat yang sama hanya 1 devices yang bisa connect, koneksi pop3 dari devices
yang lain akan ditolak dengan error: maildrop already lock.
Hal itu terjadi untuk email client apapun.

Beda dengan IMAP yang memang dirancang untuk diakses oleh banyak devices pada
saat yang sama.

Tetapi di MDaemon 18.5.0 keatas sudah dimungkinkan untuk menggunakan POP3 tanpa
lock.

CHANGES AND NEW FEATURES
[20394] MDaemon can be configured to not create POP lock files, which prevent
multiple POP3 clients from accessing the same account at the same time, by
editing MDaemon.ini and setting [Special] CreatePOPLockFiles=No.

Tetapi kalau memang benar user itu hanya pakai 1 devices saja (bisa periksa ke
POP3 log untuk memastikan), artinya poplck file tidak otomatis terhapus di
folder \\mdaemon\lockfiles atau session connection (POP3 session) sebelumnya
tidak terputus yang bisa terjadi karena koneksinya terfilter oleh firewall atau
proxy (antivirus).
Dalam hal demikian, maka putuskan koneksinya dari MDconfig screen log dan kalau
perlu hapus POPlock file untuk akun itu.

User kami belakangan sering error seperti ini:

Sending of password for user tri.san...@clipan.co.id did not succeed. Mail
server 10.100.101.10 responded: maildrop already locked

Untuk contoh user diatas hanya menggunakan Thunderbird sebagai client, dan
tidak ada akses email selain di komputer. Ini kenapa ya pak?
