Set thread_pools to 2, and reduce max thread count to a saner level More than 2 thread_pools (varnish's default) has shown to have no benefit in practice. The maximum thread count is currently way too high, so reducing that to about 2-3x the typical thread level. Will probably need to be tuned down further.
