[MeeGo-dev] MeeGo Gitorious Service after March 21, 2013 and git.meego.com setup
Hi folks: The contract the MeeGo project has with Gitorious ends on March 21, 2013. Gitorious provided source coding hosting services for MeeGo. While its not expected that they will remove existing git repos it is expected there will be changes in the meego.gitorious.org website which may make it hard to find the repos for some who relied on the web interface. To keep the code available https://git.meego.com has been setup. It has a copy of the official git repos, anyone can substitute a Gitorious URL for a git.meego.com URL (again for official repos) if necessary. This is a precaution to preserve an official copy of the GIT repos and the list of all repos where a gitweb instance is provided on git.meego.com. [MeeGo-dev] api.meego.com/build.meego.com SSL Certificate Replaced 12/20/2012
For those of you using api.meego.com/build.meego.com via SSL with your OBS/OSC client you will have noticed a certificate update was completed on 12/20/2012. Some users will see errors if they are not using standard ca-certs, they are too old, or are otherwise not working correctly. The newly issued SSL Certificate is now in effect as the old one was about to expire. Normally I wouldn't announce an SSL Cert change but I understand sometimes this causes problems for OSC client users. [MeeGo-dev] Revoked Certificate api.meego.com new one being installed.
api.meego.com has been operating with a Revoked SSL Certificate for a few days. In the next 10 minutes or so i'll be switching us over to a commercially issued certificate for api.meego.com. The last time we did this we ended up backing it out, mainly because people had to accept the new certificate, this time we can't move backwards since the old cert was revoked. [MeeGo-dev] OBS Infrastructure Maintenance Sunday 8/14/2011 - 05:00 GMT
We need to do some back end maintenance to resolve some stability issues we've been seeing with OBS over the past several weeks. I will be taking OBS down at 05:00 GMT on 8/14/2011 at 05:00GMT (22:00Pacific 8/13/2011) for some back end maintenance, no OBS version changes or updates will be applied. This may cause OBS to be unavailable for a short period around this time. [MeeGo-dev] Patching & regular maintenance on download.meego.com
MeeGo Community Members: Its become around that time to do some software upgrades on download.meego.com. I've got them scheduled for 02:00 GMT on August 3, 2011. repo.meego.com has already been patched and will not experience an outage. During this time new snapshots cannot be published to repo.meego.com, however it is not expected that none will need to be published. The maintenance and associated hardware updates are expected to take about 45 minutes. Users who access download.meego.com will be impacted multiple times within the outage window. Re: [MeeGo-dev] https://bugs.meego.com/ can not work now, when will it be recovered?

The reason its TLS-SNI primarily is that we want to be good citizens and conserve IPs. We also can't get more to dedicate to each SSL site. If you connect to some of our services you'll get a self-signed SSL certificate when TLS-SNI support is not available in your user-agent. If you hit this URL you'll be served a help page that talks about this: https://140.211.166.236/TLS-SNI.html Primarily the complaints about this have come from people using Internet Explorer on Windows XP which led us to ask, why are you accessing our site with such an old software stack? If you hit bugs.meego.com with a TLS-SNI enabled browser you will see a correctly issued SSL Certificate. If you do not you'll get the help page if you were to accept the SSL warning and view the page. meego.com has a dedicated IP and does not use TLS-SNI for its SSL. Bugs.meego.com is not down, so hope this clears it up.
