Tracker daemons will consume some resources to extract and store metadata.

tracker is *THE* meego store for these things currently.
Unfortunately not all the legacy netbook applications use this correctly yet; that needs to get fixed.

(and yes, tracker and tumbler are pretty heavy animals that are in dire need of optimization)
