Re: [MeeGo-dev] Meego co-exist with Windows
I didn't find a way to use windows *without BIOS* so if the board use BIOS as bootloader ,it can use windows then we can use Grub to boot multi system I think . Can somebody post a desirable or usable boot file which can be used as a patch? Re: [MeeGo-dev] Meego co-exist with Windows
Hi Yes, you can. MeeGo have to install on indepandant partition, and the windows have to install on the 1st partition of your disk. The most simple partition settings is (assume your disk is /dev/sda): /dev/sda | - /dev/sda1 ntfs (Install windows) | - /dev/sda2 ext2 (Install MeeGo /boot) | - /dev/sda3 btrfs (Install MeeGo rootfs /) Install windows first, than Install MeeGo, after installation, do simple configuration to you grub, you'll have a MeeGo-Windows dual boot computer. Re: [MeeGo-dev] Meego co-exist with Windows
It will be a usage question Meego-installation process does not change dual_boot. It seems Meego installation process is broken Though disk is partitioned and Meego was configured to allow another partition as default, it changed the configure for dual-boot and makes Meego as default Is this a bug or feature for Meego?
