I've had some luck finding brushes at my Ace Hardware in their "majik drawers" of strange hardware. No guarantees, but I know I found brushes for a heater blower on a W126 in them once. The few local PnPs we have are pretty worthless when it comes to MBs, unfortunately. Bumper covers come off easily but have a lot of bolts. Door handles are a piece of cake. You should be able to pop one off in snout 30 seconds. Do you need me to explain the process?
