But, I read that this system was designed to avoid stall on takeoff which is not a good thing either. In fact it might have been in your earlier post. The new engines and the placement on the wing causes it to perform differently than previous 737s. Disable or leave it on. Secret agreements and sweeping issues under the rug in airliner safety results in dead passengers, always a bad idea. I've seen them at big truck stops but none near the house.The filler on the Jetta is in the trunk, not somewhere I want to spill pee smelling stuff. I have no experience with OM604,5,6 The OM60x shorthand, was used by the esteemed Dr. Booth for OM601,2,3. Since the block of a 606 is essentially the same as the OM603, I'd expect their attetite to be similar. However, newer cars tend to thrive on watery oils, so the materials and clearances in the 606 may be different. Consult the OM or technical manuals for the 606.
