Just in case I'm mistaken, is there any difference between the seats used in the W211 E320 and E500? I am assuming not, but the seat covers I'm looking at don't specifically mention the E500. [MBZ] $400 04 E500 vacuumed
I spent some time this evening vacuuming the car. The car’s interior (black) is in surprisingly good condition except for LR door card where the airbag fired through the upper covering. Looks like the driver seat bag might have fired too, it is all stuffed up in its hole. And the RR seatbelt tensioner has fired but the whole thing is pulled tight so I doubt if anyone was in that seat but maybe the LR seat was why the airbag deployed. I believe this is all due to the crash that led to the bad respray. Car does have a salvage tittle and the PO told me his buddy he bought it from had been in a crash. Aside from the paint it looks to have been put back together ok. Next up the steamer and extraction machine and some scrubbing. Seats need a good scrubbing too.
