[MBZ] transmission didn’t work so I swapped it with a manual 1980 Mercedes-Benz 300 d,$1,500

Could be a reasonably cheap interesting project

however, I never got the clutch figured out so when you go over 45 miles 
an hour it starts to slip and you can smell clutch material The car. 
Also has bad blow by when I got it someone had caulked around where the 
air filter seize up the oil also has an electric problem with the 
windows need to fuse for it, but the fuse keeps on burning up, but 
everything else works fine

Back passenger window is 75% of the way up bc it fell down and won’t go 
all the way up but I’m sure you can get it to window is covered up tho. 
Ac doesn’t blow cold pretty sure it’s the condenser clutch. I’ll get 
pictures of the interior tomorrow but other than the headliner drooping 
the interior is in pretty good shape.

Could be a cheap fix

it s now giving a speed sensor fault, still drives good, drives perfect 
when reset, completely factory in great condition for 2001, drive 
anywhere you want comfortably but speed sensor will give an issue at 
some point .
