Re: [MBZ] OT streetlights in the country

The motion sensor light thats on my garage has that feature. Turn the switch
Off-On and the light stays on 'till the switch is turned Off. If you do Off-On
Off-On the light stays on for an hour then goes off and back ti motion sensing
mode.

I guess I was getting screwed by PSO. Yea I get having a switch before the
motion light but I'm talking about a switch I can turn on to have the lights
stay on bypassing the motion sensors.

What's the story with XP these days? Does it still have to phone home
to get a code to run?

The PDF on the StarTek site for the 240D shows the flasher as a part of
the hazard switch.

The PDF Fred sent shows the flasher as a separate component with wires to
the hazard switch, which is what my car has.

Perhaps the StarTek site shows the wiring for an early 240D, while mine
is a relatively late one.

When I found it took a very long shop jack to reach the front lift point on the
Prius,
I bought a pair of ramps instead, centered them on the front wheels, drove up
on the ramps, put on the emergency brake, and then decided to move the car
further back in the shop.

When I had backed half way down the ramps with the emergency brake dragging,
both ramps shot out from under the wheels, knocking the woodworking bench down,
and kicking out one leg on the general purpose bench.
I sat there for a minute trying to figure out why the ramps kicked out with
such force, and then it dawned on me: Front wheel drive car after 40+ years of
working on rear wheel drive cars!
Fortunately there was was no significant damage.

Gerry...who has a long history of dumb tricks.
