Right after I got the 300D, I took it to the trans shop to see about 
replacing seals.   It would puke a qt or 3 randomly when parked.  (TX 
car, Autohaus, Dallas, as is my 81 240D)


They told me the trans was shot, blah,blah

I drove off while they were still telling me the sky was falling. 
(shop owned by the local JF church high ups)


The car has over 300k now, it was under 150k at the time.   Trans is 
still fine.  I put a can of the seal softener stuff in it and drove it.
