If your system is anything like a 123, splitting the power supply
might be
worth trying.
They're really quite different, I don't at this time suspect
that kind of power problem, the internal guts of the HVAC
box is powered by an internal 8V regulator. Gotta go down
a lot to get underneath that! Besides, this box doesn't
even work right on the bench.
