I found a pair of vintage Marantz speakers on CL that had already had the
surrounds replaced (done nicely!) for $80. They are great. I'm thinking I could
cash out some of my obsolete TEAC, JVC, Yamaha and other obsolete/unused gear.
eBay shows some good prices on some of this stuff. I saw my TEAC cassette deck
sold recently for $450. I don't think I paid that much new.

I have an old pair of 15" Pyle speakers that need that. They aren't high
end speakers by any means, but they have big magnets and will pump out
the bass frequencies
