[MBZ] 123 CD

2020-07-30 Thread Kaleb Striplin via Mercedes
There is a local dude who has this 85 CD California car he has owned for the
last 25 years. I posted about this a while back. Car has been sitting 5 years
under a carport and appears to be in good shape with 240k miles IIRC. Battery
is dead but I’m pretty sure it will start with a new battery. I offer the guy
$2k for it a while back but he did not want to sell. He hit me up today saying
some guy working on their house offered him $2500 and wanted to know if I was
still interested before he sold it to him. Do y’all think a car such as this
would be worth somewhere around $4-5k now days? If so it might be worth taking
a chance on. I know I have wanted this car for a long time seeing it drive
around town.

You should get it and flip on BaT. Use the proceeds to buy supplies for
the coming storm.

If it’s solid, complete and not trashed mechanically $2500 isn’t a bad price.
It’s not really a BaT flip as the mileage would probably disqualify it. Maybe
on that other auction site, I don’t know.

I told the guy I would probably be 3-4 weeks out from doing anything as I would
need to unload one of my 210s first. If he wants to wait then fine, if not that
is OK too.
