[MBZ] 123 CD
There is a local dude who has this 85 CD California car he has owned for the last 25 years. I posted about this a while back. Car has been sitting 5 years under a carport and appears to be in good shape with 240k miles IIRC. Battery is dead but I’m pretty sure it will start with a new battery. I offer the guy $2k for it a while back but he did not want to sell. He hit me up today saying some guy working on their house offered him $2500 and wanted to know if I was still interested before he sold it to him. Do y’all think a car such as this would be worth somewhere around $4-5k now days? If so it might be worth taking a chance on. I know I have wanted this car for a long time seeing it drive around town. You should get it and flip on BaT. If it’s solid, complete and not trashed mechanically $2500 isn’t a bad price. It’s not really a BaT flip as the mileage would probably disqualify it. I told the guy I would probably be 3-4 weeks out from doing anything as I would need to unload one of my 210s first. If he wants to wait then fine, if not that is OK too.
