The rubber carrier is what is responsible for thumping.  A bearing alone
isn't often what you need.

[MBZ] 124 driveshaft carrier bearing 6006-2RS

Please delete the prior email.  I wrote the wrong bearing number.

I ordered a FAG.  It is a 6006-2RS.   When you have the bearing number, 
you can pick one up locally at a bearing or industrial supply house. (or 
fleabay) generally faster and cheaper than going through parts channels.


You may want to note the bearing number if you have a 124.  May be the 
same for 107-126/210 etc.
