[MBZ] 124 rear seat removal

2011-07-29 Thread Alex Chamberlain
Gentlemen,

How does the upper portion of the rear seat in a 124 sedan come out?
This is on my '87 300D, just in case there's a difference between
early and late. I got the bottom out just fine once I remembered that
the little orange catches push in, not out or sideways, but I don't
see any bolts or anything else obvious holding the top in (and I'm
assuming it does come out fairly easily, to be reupholstered/repadded
as needed).

Thanks Wilton! I was expecting screws or bolts in that area---must
have not looked hard enough.

Three 10mm bolts along bottom, then lift up to get it off the hooks along top.
