Current fuel prices here in Winnipeg are .979 for diesel and .989 for regular gasoline - per liter. That works out to $3.71 Cdn per US gallon for diesel and $3.74 Cdn per US Gallon for gas. In round numbers the truck is doing 12 mpg and the car is doing 20 mpg. Car is sleeping for the winter so I'm paying big time to make short trips around town. Re: [MBZ] 126 wanted
Well, I have a very nice '90 420SEL that I have had listed for quite a while. Since I sold my SDL I have been driving it, but its still available. Books/records, brand new bilsteins, I have been getting a solid 20mpg which actually makes it cheaper to drive than a SDL right now. --- Kaleb C. Re: [MBZ] 126 wanted+'83 300SD tranny Q
Dad's work friend is looking for a 126. Nope, ain't sellin' my '83 300SD! Not gonna do it! It does have a tranny issue that's surfaced since coming out of the shop. It's slamming into gear harder than before, shifting very firmly, and downshifting very hard as well. I know that vacuum leaks can cause firm shifts, but are the slamming into drive and firm downshifts also vacuum related?
