looks like pass headlamp is minus glass lens.  Those are close to unobtanium 
this side of the pond.  Would need an in person review to see if rust is 
extensive, the Djet is sorted and all those niggling bits

Does a '74 have Euro bumpers and the high-output engine, or was '73 the
last year for that?

What kind of shape are the seals and soft top in?  Hard top included?

[MBZ] 1974 450SL First $8k takes it

Not mine, no interest, doing my Indy a favor.  SPITE SALE

Palomino 450SL needs to meet a new owner.  First guy with $8.000 cash can drive 
away in a mechanically sound car.

Indy got the car from the widower of the owner.  Old dame passed away in 2005 
and the car lived in the garage, unloved until winter 2013.  Came fully non 
functional to the shop needing all manner of work done to make it road worthy 
again.  Instead of dicking around with the owners on every little thing, he 
took possession with arrangement to sell back to them when he was done.

I have watched the progress and was called in with Frosch a few times serve as 
exemplar.  Rebuilt the fuel system with new parts, machined head and rebuilt 
upper and lower end of the block.  Car now runs like a top with suspension and 
more put together.  Original steel wheels, no hubcaps (PO held on to them to 
remember her dead mother).  A few small cosmetic things, not showroom, but 
superior daily driver or incredible base for restoration.

Car is ORIGINAL paint, interior.

All work is complete on the car.  Indy called the client and she gave him 
attitude and disrespect.  He was insulted and now is willing to let the car go 
for half of what he has into it.  Full on spite sale.

Located in Seattle.  Strictly Mercedes Benz, 206 524-0122.  Julie is the 
manager, Victor is the owner.

if you have spare cash and need the car, call and make arrangement to pick it 
up.  I am sure it will drive anywhere you want to go.  SWMBA would castrate me 
if I purchased.  Probably more economical if I did purchase this one, but I do 
not have cash, or the guts.
