Now that you mention it I just looked at a pic of the dash and does look 
like burl walnut, it's quite pretty.  I never really noticed it

Mine is white with black leather (driver seat has one tear, the rest of 
the interior is a 9) which looks really nice.  Body has rust under the 
side strips and at a corner of the back glass, standard problem I 
guess.  Other than that the body is in very good shape.  PO's boyfriend 
said the woman who owned it had it repainted at some point after a 
hurricane left some branch scratches in the paint, which he said was not 
that bad but she was picky.  Hard to tell it was resprayed so looks like 
it was a good job.  Lights off with about 3 spins, seems to run OK.  It 
could probably be reasonable BaT material.


If I do drive it I will need to get some new tires.  I think the 
original sizes are hard to find now or pricey (Michelin's might still be 
available), I'll have to look at "close enough" sizes I guess.  i wonder 
if Kumho has something, those seem decent.

Not sure about NA OM617 but in winter storm of 2013 big tree branch came
down on my 82 CD. As I was getting ready to kiss it good by, body shop
called and said ins co would not total it. Repairs were about 6k and car
booked at at 13400. So  I got a new pant job,new sunroof etc out of it. I
did buy RF  fender from Rusty so it could be done then. YMMV

brakes on it, runs well, has a bit of rust but otherwise very nice.  
NA engine.  I need to go bleed the brakes again then drive it some as
