Re: [MBZ] Another CHEAP SL, JIM?
If you budget for a decent paint job, that brings it up over $5K and not much of a bargain anymore. She flew out to lake flacid this morning, so I have been able to pass wind with extreme prejudice. I have put in an order with Rusty, and will be scouring Benz Friendz for items to post on eBay. I suspect that was our p-whipped colleague up in Seattle, Clay. Apparently he can't fart without first getting a signed release from the missus. I think she's a lawyer, so he knows better than to challenge the arrangement. It's sad, really. Pray for him. What a hodge-podge. Still, if paint were in your future that wouldn't be bad. Looks like it's missing the fog lights. But I've got mine already. Feel free to get yours too! I drove mine to work today, it runs pretty well. Needs a lot of fiddly stuff, though. At least the cuffs match the collar! Washed, it's still fairly shiny. My wife parked next to it today at lunch, and complemented me on my "good deal". Hoo-hah! Let me write that down... She thinks the overall paint effect is better than the 450. Though this one has many more flaws, the rust 'bulletholes' in the 450's trunk lid were weighted high in her book. -- Jim ___ http://www.okiebenz.com For new parts see official list sponsor: http://www.buymbparts.com/ For used parts email [EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
