The 201.126 was available in the US as a non-turbo between '86 and '89.
The turbo (201.128) was ONLY available in the US in '87 and less than
1400 were imported.

In '84-85 the 2.2 liter (201.122) was the only US delivered diesel 201.

5100 is pretty cheap for one of them. This one has a salvage title though.

The bid for this one will be through the roof in the last five minutes of
the auction.

If I had an extra $5100 laying around, I would buy this instead.

A little pricy, but one of the finest automobiles ever built. Larger than a
190 (201 chassis) and any children/adults over 4 feet tall will appreciate
the extra room in the back seat. A little less economical on fuel, but still
not that bad. Give up on a 190d or dt and purchase a 300d ('91-'93) for your
primary/luxury auto. You & SWMBO and any kids will be WAY happier.

$5,100 for a salvage title, unrepaired collision damage, broken
sunroof, ripped seats, and 240K miles? Too rich for my blood.

Don't forget no mention of suspension work... betcha it drives like a
dream.
