You want a 115, remember? Yeah, BTDT with the W123's, but still awefully tempting. There hasta be a good 115 out there with little to no rust and a working blower motor. It starts right up and goes down the road with no problem at all. I'm awefully tempted to check it out. Psst, it's a cheap Mercedes, you know. 1. $4K is not cheap by list-standards. $4K is two or three cars. 2. Why weren't you at the IowaQ? I spent $4k exactly on my SD 4 years ago, and don't regret it. It was spectacularly maintained, the exterior had been completely refreshed-- repainted bumpers, mirrors, paint buffed out, etc. No dash cracks, always garaged, etc. etc. It has cost me an ACC panel, a starter, a window regulator replacement, some belts, and a few gaskets and seals to stop oil leaks since, but that's it aside from normal maintenance (valve adjustments, oil and filter changes, filter mounts, and brakes). And it looks and performs great. Glad I didn't try to go cheaper.
