Re: [MBZ] Coleman RV AC
Does it have a cycling switch? On a car that switches on and off wouldn’t that be either low on Freon (or too high pressure)? Maybe it works similarly. Donald H. [MBZ] Coleman RV AC
Anybody know anything about RV ACs? On this 5th wheel I got, I wired up a 30 amp outlet in the shop and plugged in the RV. AC fan runs, compressor kicks in for about 3 seconds, then shuts off, 30-45 seconds later, same it starts again for about 2-3 seconds then quit. I got up top and pulled the cover. It is basically like a window AC except its on top of the camper. Anyway, fan is working fine, compressor kicks on for 2-3 seconds and sounds fine, then shuts off. Feeling the low side line, it sure feels like it is starting to get cool for that couple of seconds compressor runs. I am thinking run capacitor. Anybody know anything about these? Capacitors look fine but who knows. The run capacitor looks sort of crummy on top, but not really that bad. Perhaps I should replace both. Fan cap is probably fine since it runs. ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
