lawyer and see how fast they come up with numbers that you like.

scr*w kbb. Go to nada classics. You will be suprised. You might want to 
talk about lawyering .. I want to say "Average" retail is close to 7,000 
and "High" retail is upwards of 9,000 from memory. High retail is not a 
100 pointer either, It is just in tip-top shape with no need of 
reconditioning (mechanics, interior or paint)

State Farm did that for my 84 SD about 14 mos ago and came up with $7800 
value (!)

BTW I think low retail is still north of $4,000

I'll post this once again. It's from 15 years ago, but the principles
still apply. They want to offer you a pittance and make you go away

Simple enough. She informs the errant driver that his insurance company won't
