84MPH is top speed on the 115 220D Manual..A whopping 2 more than the automatic...lol I've had it up to 75 and it's smooth as glass. I get the impression that it could cruise the highway at top speed for hours on end with a top off of oil for each tank of fuel. ;) Mike Top end was in the nineties for my 92. That's a good deal for that car. I had one--got 43 mpg @65 on the highway. Very nice drivers, but quite noisy. Also prone to cracked heads. Not terribly easy to work on. That said, well worth the asking price.
