[MBZ] Diesel Question
Hi, All. If I were to get a gun rack for my 190DT would it be best to get an M1 to put in it? Or should I get a firearm because winter is coming and soon it will be Colt? TTFN Fred Moir The old diesel infested guy with the lousy jokes.

[MBZ] Diesel Question #2
Hi, All. LT Don, so if It's not to be diesel would AvCat or AvTag be OK? I could use what another member of the (60's) R.A.F. used, 70% AvCat, 20% turbine oil and 10% Red Hydraulic Fluid. Ran OK in a Perkins and was free, (sort of). TTFN Fred Moir Diesel in my veins (and you can see where most of it gets in!)

Ah, the Darrell-Mobile reeking of JP-5. Darrell's father was a very senior officer in the Coast Guard, as in a pilot waiting to make Admiral. His son, Darrell, enlisted and really liked to turn wrenches. When I met him I was an E-3 and he was an E-4. I then made E-4 and quickly made E-5 and E-6. Darrell was still and E-4. He knew more about the helicopters than his supervisor's supervisors but was still at the bottom rung. Why? He didn't want to be a supervisor, he wanted to turn wrenches and have no problems. ... The time frame we are referencing is four years. When I got to Cape Cod, Darrell's contemporaries at USCG school were CPOs and Warrant Officers. Darrell was still an AD3. He saw that as his lot in life and he was damn good at what he did. Last I heard he had retired (as an E4) and was working as a fireman at the same base, this time as a civilian. But that dude knew an HH-52 and an HH-3F inside out. And his old diesel Benz smelled funny. What would an old diesel Benz have been in the mid 1970s?
