That's a 722.4, right?  It does have a B2 piston, albeit a much-upgraded 
one and failures are rare, but possible.  More likely it just needs a 
new tranny.

Price seems high.  It is hard to imagine a car that can't be driven (for 
whatever reason) selling for much more than salvage value.

Well, the tranny will go in reverse, but not forward.  I've never heard 
of a B2 problem on the W124s, but could I be so lucky?

Is a Rusty reman $1800?  Seemed that was the magic number for just about 
all the transmissions he sold.
