I don’t know if that year has a 722.6 or 722.9. I don’t think a 722.6 throws a CEL but a 722.9 will when it goes into limp mode so maybe that’s the light. Or something else maybe. Yeah $500 max. --FTSent from iFōnOn Dec 10, 2023, at 12:09 PM, Robert Rentfro via Mercedes wrote:https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/371252542054333/ Easy fix and you have yourself a drop top. AZBob Sent from Mail for Windows

MOST slow shutoff is caused by leaky vacuum connections - NOT a bad
shutoff valve (but they can cause slow/no shutoff).

Test by sucking (either by mouth or with a Mity Vac) on the shut off
line. It should NOT take much of a suck to shut the engine down and
there should be no oil in the vacuum line (from the valve).

Speaking of an easy fix, how difficult is it to:

1) replace a missing rear bumper end piece (on the side - curves around the
rear quarter panel) on a 1983 300TD

2) Replacing the engine shut-off valve because the engine is starting to run
for more than a few seconds after I turn it off (1985 300CD).
