It does look like a decent restore job.   When I judged concours at 
Gemetleicheit in the 80s, almost all the restores lost lots points for 
an ugly underside.   Wrong mufflers, exhaust clamps, unrestored, dirty, 
and lots of overspray on the dirt.  I'd have taken off even more points 
if the judging criteria had allowed me to do so.   It was awful to see  
"restored" 300SLs and other great cars with all those sins committed.

What's a concours restored 190SL worth?
More than 75k, less than the cost of a full concours restoration. 
I don't think he's getting $150k for it, but maybe I'm wrong. 
100 isn't out of the question.

I talked to Tyshawn, I am getting manic now about that 600SL, maybe that 
will be what I make my daughter buy from me at some point for over

Well, the Hemmings ad seems legit.   If it's a scam,  they're putting a lot
of work into it.
