Contacts in the steering wheel. Usually only happens in the straight ahead position, goes away off center. Clean them, you may need to replace the carbon contact or the slip ring. John, If you wait long enough, the blinking SRS light will no longer be an issue. It will be a steady on light like the one in my 300SDL for the last 150,000 miles or so. Mine's probably a bad sensor or a broken sensor wire.
