Re: [MBZ] Klann Spring compressor use
The Klann worked like a charm. Taking out the left spring was a bit scary as it was cracked at base causing the whole spring to bow out. It therefore did not fit snugly into the compressor. Took a chance and used it anyway. No broken bones or cracked skulls. Had to stop working for the day as it started snowing here in DC??? [MBZ] Klann Spring compressor use
For my 82 240D- Does anyone know whether I access the tightening nut on the tool from the hole in the top of the spring housing or from the bottom. It seems as if the nut gets oriented at the bottom spring compressor plate but I seem to recall that you tighten the tool from the top. ___ http://www.okiebenz.com For new and used parts go to www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com

I think I did the tightening from the top on my 123 when I did mine. I also had to shave the hole a bit to get the shaft to fit in there.
