Actually, I guess that's a natural progression of this list. Started by
helping each other with questions, sometimes loaning tools or selling parts,
selling each other cars, and now, helping each other with repairs. Kind of
a Mercedes Co-op?

Sadly, I have to agree with the comments that if we
want to make sure the job done right, we have to do it
ourselves. I've seen this with American, Japanese, and
now German shops. Not to mention home inspectors,
plumbers, pool service.
Since owning this car, I've learned to change
radiator, alternator, monovalve, vacuum elements,
headlights, and it's kind of fun. Wish I could
observe one you guys like Dave M for bigger jobs.
