[MBZ] My car doesn't exist!
Dieselers, I went to the MBUSA website to check out some info on my car (1990 300D 2.5) and the website has the following statement: "Body Style 124 Introduced as 300D 2.5 Turbo Sedan to U.S. Fall 1991 Facelifted, engine changed and name changed to E300 Diesel Sedan Spring 1994+" I guess that means that according to MBUSA my car doesn't exist. Don, I am in the process of buying John Peterson's 1990 300D 2.5t. so that makes at least two non existent examples.Can't find a reference to these in James Taylor's book-Vol 4. It is possible that because of that, Mercedes considered them to be model year 1991 even though they were sold and registered as 1990 cars in the US.
