The car starts up good and runs fine, but the engine gets hot and steam comes out of the overflow. I put a head gasket in it (not fun) but it didn't fix the problem and now I'm sick of it and ready to take a loss. What do you guys think the issue is? And this is pre-W123, isn't it? I am just now getting the Loren car finally sorted out and fun-to-drive. That makes four cars (plus a motorcycle) for three drivers. Debbie has told me, and I quote: You will NOT turn into a Kaleb! If he replaced the head gasket and it still gets hot, the problem had to be elsewhere. The heads/gaskets are just not a problem on those cars. What freaking cars do you have anyways? What do you guys think the issue is? And this is pre-W123, isn't it? Yeah, that's a W115. Gump, Frankenheap, etc. I have no idea what the problem could be, assuming he _did_ actually put the head back on right. They aren't prone to cracking or anything, but it certainly can have happened. The odds are against it, but obviously something is wrong. -- Jim
